Paul Wessel is the patriarch of our kennel. He raised dogs his entire life and loved every minute of it. From the time he was in grade school Paul had a passion for all types of dogs. Raised on his family farm in Dutzow Missouri Paul grew up in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and exploring.  

On May 30, 1959 Paul and his high school sweetheart Ruth were married and have lived in the Dutzow/Augusta area ever since.  They raised a daughter and son and now enjoy two granddaughters and one grandson!  
  
With about 60 years of experience taking care of dogs, the Wessel's have the knowledge and experience to know how to take care of most any situation your dog might have.
